Testimonials from amazing people who have mentored/supervised me and helped in my career. (Linkedin)

  • "Karan worked with me for about one year now in developing and testing of Metegrity's first release of 581 Level 1 software modelling. Karan dedicated time and energy to learn the 581 code, spoke up to provide ideas and opinions and was always willing to both learn and contribute. He is a resourceful person who comes up with a clever solution to a problem. He has demonstrated in-depth knowledge and practical experience of Risk-based inspection (RBI). While working on API-581 project, not only he helped identify several critical issues with the calculations and codes, but he also spent a significant time to research the underlying phenomenon and concepts to check if the equations/parameters are applicable for the given scenario He is a motivated and avid learner. Recently, I learned that he self-financed himself to study and certify as API-580 RBI inspector and six sigma green belt. Karan will be an indispensable asset for any future industry he will work for. And this comes with my heartfelt recommendation."
  • "Self-motivated and efficient is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about Karan. I have known Karan for about two years now. I’ve had the pleasure of having Karan as my teaching assistant in Memorial University. Karan is a creative person with a practical mindset. I remember his extraordinary efforts to promote academic excellence and integrity. He is also a reliable and dedicated volunteer and was a great asset while organizing the 3rd international safety and integrity workshop. His practical experience combined with advanced knowledge of risk and reliability engineering would be a true asset for any positions requiring creative thinking, multidisciplinary approach and teamwork."
  • "Karan was one of our Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Scholars at Memorial University. It was a pleasure to see Karan progress in his master's program. He is a motivated and dedicated individual with a solid work ethic. He has demonstrated great time management, team building, leadership and organizational skills during his time at Memorial and through his work with the QES program. I believe that any organization would be fortunate to have Karan on their team."
